‘Spatialist’ and ‘Nuclear’ works are proof of the interest in and development of themes touched by contemporary Milanese artists in the post-war period, promoted in particular by Lucio Fontana’s ‘Spatialist’ research and by the ‘Nuclear’ movement of Enrico Baj and Sergio Dangelo.
Created in the mid 50s, these works stand out because of the impactful materials used as well as the use of unusual artistic materials.
